1. Familiarize with SSC CPO Exam Pattern

To prepare effectively for any competitive exam, the first basic step is to get familiarize with latest exam pattern of SSC CPO exam. This written competitive exam is an online trial of 200 checks in 120 minutes (2 hours).

The exam pattern of SSC CPO Exam comprises of two stages and they are Paper 1 and Paper 2. After successfully qualifying Paper 1, the selected students will have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

After effectively qualifying PET/Medical, the students will be allowed to qualify for Paper 2.

Series- Approximately 3 to 5 questions can be asked. The type of questions is expected to be from topics such as Semantic Series, Number Series, Figural Series, Mixed Series, Series based on General Knowledge.

Coding Decoding- Approximately 3 to 4 questions can be asked. The type of questions may be from topics such as Coding by analogy, coding by words, coding-decoding by letter shifting, etc.

Blood Relations- Approximately 1 to 3 questions can be asked. The type of questions will be related to the topics like Family Tree, Coded Blood Relation.

Ordering & Ranking- Approximately 1 to 2 questions can be asked.

Alphabet or Word Test- Approximately 3 to 5 questions can be asked. The type of questions will be from topics like Matrix, Jumbled words, sequence & word formation, Suffix etc.

Direction & Distance- Approximately 1 to 3 questions can be asked. The questions can be based on route and network.

Venn Diagrams- Approximately 4 to 5 questions can be asked. The questions can be asked from topics like Syllogisms, Logical, Venn Diagrams, etc.

Missing Number- Approximately 2to 3 questions can be asked. The questions can be asked from topics like Matrix & Diagrams (Number & Alphabet based)

Puzzles- Around 2 to3 questions can be asked. The questions can be asked from topics like Seating Arrangement, Circular Arrangement, Linear Arrangement, Double Line Up etc.

Data Sufficiency- Around 5 to7 questions can be asked. The questions can be from topics like Arithmetic Operations, Cubes & Dices, etc.

Non-Verbal Reasoning- Around 5 to 7 questions can be asked. The questions can be from topics like Cubes, Dices, Paper Folding, Counting Figures etc.
